Chicken Liver Pate

Did you know that liver is one of the most nutrient dense foods? It’s high in protein, has all nine amino acids and is great for immunity, skin health, bone and muscle health. Its filling and pate is a delicious way to enjoy it.

Pate can be made out of many things but I like to make it out of chicken livers for a nutrient boost that tastes delicious.

Recipe: (for two 13 oz jars)

500 grams of chicken liver

2 big pieces of shallots

3 garlic cloves whole

2 tablespoons of ghee (or butter)

100 ml of cream

100 ml of bone broth (or water)

100 ml of wine (optional for flavor)

Lots of salt and pepper

Sprinkle of thyme

Sprinkle of nutmeg

Sauté all together in a pan until the livers are fully cooked. Add to a blender and eat within a week at the most.
