Asian ground chicken bowl

Ingredients:

-1 lb of ground chicken (or turkey)

-Sprinkle of salt

-Teaspoon of cornstarch

-Olive oil drizzle

-1/4 cup of hoisin sauce

-2-3 tablespoons of sambal olek or any other kind of chili paste

-2-3 teaspoons of fish sauce

-grated thumb of ginger

-1/2 an onion

-Side of jasmine rice, steamed bok choy, sesame seeds, cilantro, green onions, avocado, steamed broccoli… The options are endless :)

Steps:
In one bowl add in about 16 oz (or a pack) of ground chicken. Can also use ground turkey. Stir in a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of cornstarch and a drizzle of olive oil. Set aside.

In another bowl add 1/4 cup hoisin sauce, 2-3 tablespoons of sambal olek or any other kind of chili paste, a drizzle of fish sauce, and grate thumb of ginger.

Set that aside and heat a large pan on medium with olive oil and 1/2 an onion diced and saute until fragrant, about 5 minutes. Add in the chicken and return to the stove for about 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add in the sauce and cook for another couple minutes until everything is mixed together and it all smells super great.

Serve next to jasmine rice and any kind of veggies; I used steamed bok choy. Serve with a slice of lime and green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds and maybe some cashews.
